Campus Location Life Christian Academy
Course Description Course Description:
*Not open to part-time students*

This student-lead organization will meet weekly and conduct business using Robert's Rules of Order. The goal of Student Council is to serve Life Christian Academy and the surrounding community with events, fundraisers, and service projects. Creativity, organizational skills, and leadership skills will be practiced and developed. Students interested in serving on Student Council must be full-time students who are in good standing with the school. The yearly Student Council Application and one-time Teacher Recommendation Form* must be completed and turned in to Mrs. Nance on or by the LCA family re-enrollment form due date. Forms may be turned in via email, in person or in an envelope and placed in the teacher box on or before that date. Each of the two forms is found on the HUB. One is called "Student Council Recommendation" and the other is called “Student Council Application.”
*We are only requiring new applicants to turn in a teacher recommendation form along with their application. All those who have previously served in Student Council need only turn in a completed Student Council application form.

This year-long elective class counts as 0.5 high school credits and all participation counts towards service hours.

Class time and homework time: Class will meet for 1 hour per week. Outside of class, students should plan to help with events and service projects. There are usually 2-3 events and 2-3 service projects per semester.
