Maps hold a wealth of information- anything from the population of a country to the depth of an ocean and much more. As a class, we will use geographical concepts and newly acquired map reading skills to open a whole new world of information. We will work through the workbook Map Skills for Today. Book will be provided. 

This class will introduce students to the amazing systems and organs that make up the human body. We will learn about the purpose and function of a different organ or system each week. By the end of the year each student will have created a life size paper person with all the organs and systems we learned throughout the year in its correct location.  Reproduction will not be taught.
