Course Description

This literature class is designed to introduce students to modern classics and to teach them how to analyze and insightfully discuss the books they have read. This class is almost entirely discussion-based. Students will be required to read weekly, keep a reading journal, and participate in book discussions. Book selections will be made based on the books
recommended in the Sonlight curriculum course for 20th Century Literature as well as
supplemented short stories, essays, and poetry provided by the teacher.
