Course Description

First Semester: Christianity, Cults and Religions helps Christians know what they believe and why. This book contains basic charts that compare world religions, cults and sects. Christianity, Cults & Religions is a well-researched introduction on cults and religions from a Christian viewpoint. Each world religion, sect, and/or cult is condensed to 100 words for a quick overview. It explains the basics of the Christian faith and the differences between Christianity and world religions and sects. It includes and optional study guide for Bible studies and adult Sunday school classes. General editor, Paul Carden, is executive director of the Centers for Apologetics Research, and former co-host of the Bible Answer Man radio program.

Second Semester: It Couldn't Just Happen (Biblical Evidence for the Creation of the Universe) We can all agree that evolution, in the course of small changes, happens. The fact that living creatures can change in small ways is not proof of the Theory of Evolution. The Theory of Evolution is not a fact. There really is strong proof for creation. This course will provide solid, Biblical answers to some of the tough questions that are asked about evolution and our world. It will explain the beliefs of those who think our world and life itself came into existence without God. It will examine the beliefs of those who believe in evolution think "proves" their viewpoint. It will provide strong evidence for the creation of the universe and the creation of living creatures. It will review some of the evidence that the Bible has a supernatural origin. It will present Biblical and scientific evidence that the natural world was created by God rather than through evolution.

It will answer tough questions such as:
"Did earth begin with a "Big Bang" cosmic explosion?"

"Does science contradict the Bible?"

"What happened to dinosaurs?"

"Is there life on other planets?"

"Did we evolve from apes?"

"What make my body work on its own?"

The theory of evolution is pushed by the media and public schools. It's not safe to assume that your children will reject that theory. It's up to us as parents and Christian leaders to make sure our children know the truth about the creation of the world. With tons of evidence to prove He created and sustains the universe; It Couldn't Just Happen will fascinate students with examples of God's marvelous works.
