Fall Semester: The students will learn about why character and manners matter from a biblical perspective. They will look at virtue and character study through the book of Proverbs. They will practice manners and etiquette in casual and fun ways, including some labs with food.

Spring Semester: Learning how to help yourself learn is a skill that isn’t natural and has to be taught. There can be a lot of study methods that don’t work in making things stick. Your student will be given some of the latest strategies to try at home, along with some fun practice in class. The class will be interactive to keep it engaging.

No textbooks required for this class. 

Homework will be less than an hour a week and will consist of practicing the skills learned in class.
