Course Description

Your student will learn to solve linear equations that include fractions, decimals, radicals, and absolute value expressions. We will graph, analyze, and solve two-variable equations, inequalities, and functions, and learn much more! Step-by-step instructions will be provided to help your student grasp the concept.

There is no need to buy any other pieces of the curriculum as I will grade all the tests and quizzes and the homework answer keys will be provided. No calculators will be necessary. 

Teacher will provide: All necessary answer keys, colored cardstock for a formula sheet, and graphing paper

Prerequisite: Student must have successfully completed pre-algebra before taking this class.

Course Description

This class will be a simplified, high-level version of Precalculus. It will involve some Algebra 1, Geometry, and Algebra 2 review complete with a high level overview of Precalculus. This class is a great option for those who are simply looking for a 4th math credit or are advanced in math but would like to slow down their pace a bit because of their grade level or age without taking a year off. 

This class maybe be labeled on your student's transcript as "Advanced Math", "Algebra 3", or even "Precalculus". It is recommended that if your student would like to go into a STEM field that they take a college-level Precalculus class in the future.

In this class, students will hone and combine skills learned in algebra and geometry. Students will learn how to analyze and solve polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. Trig identities, matrices, analytical geometry, statistics, and a brief introduction to calculus will also be taught.

Prerequisites: Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2
