Course Description

This course is an ACT/SAT Grammar Prep course taught using EGUMPP. EGUMPP stands for Electronic Grammar Usage Mechanics Proficiency Program. You may go to www.egumpp.com for a complete overview. This program is a 4-module grammar program that will span over 2 years. In the first year, the class will focus on the first module.  It includes all parts of speech, including participles, gerunds, and clauses. (The second year will include modules 2-4. Unfortunately, you must purchase all four modules at the same time. Lord willing, I will teach EGUMPP 2 the following year to complete the other three modules.) Your student must have access to a computer at home to complete all homework and tests; however, we will NOT use a computer in class. You may combine EGUMPP 1 and EGUMPP 2 grades as a 1.0 credit elective called “Advanced Grammar and Punctuation”.

This class is worth 0.5 credits.
