Students will enjoy being exposed to Spanish language and culture through various means such as songs, chants, videos, and other listening and speaking opportunities. Greetings, colors, animals, foods, weather, clothing, numbers, and other various words and phrases will be covered. |

Students will enjoy having quality books read to them in a relaxed atmosphere. These will be primarily picture books, but also some longer chapter books. Many of the picture books will be Caldecott winners or honors. Coloring and related activities will be interspersed. |
